Life Happens

I've been really busy working lately, so I have had basically no time for development. When I do have some time, I've been working on a web browser, like actually building a web browser. It's going to take years to get it release-ready, but I've been working on it for a long time (I just don't talk about everything here :P ) and it's actually a functioning browser currently. It has a unique look and feel, kind of stylish and modern in my opinion, but simple, with a small memory footprint. It leans more toward the old, original Firefox, which was just a browser without a lot of extras, fast, and efficient. It also has a cool name, that I wont share just yet.

One thing that makes this browser a little different, though, is it has a mode that allows it to be physically controlled by AI. This isn't a headless mode, it's a physical window that is observable by a human. It is more of a developer feature than a user feature, at least for now, but it makes developing for the web much much easier. The AI can actually see what it's building, so it doesn't need other tools or human verification (until after, of course); it makes AI web development much more efficient. I'm not oblivious to the safety measures needed in this aspect, so believe me that precautions are part of the equation.

One thing I'm doing for safety on the AI mode is building in a control layer myself, without AI assistance. I want to write a paper some day on my experiences with AI, particularly on my experiences with how I work with AI, because I feel like I may have a slightly different approach than a lot of people. I've found some tricks I use and sometimes they give some interesting results, while most of the time they seem to be more beneficial. Davaux and the more recent stages of work on the browser have demonstrated some interesting things with AI for sure. As AI gets smarter, it's also getting more human-like in the way it can be sneaky and not exactly upfront sometimes. I guess the question is, "Is it a Genie that grants wishes or a Jinn?", because there is a difference.
