Well it’s been a while since I blogged or even visited my own site, so I thought I should probably do that. 🙂
The last time I blogged was Oct 2020, which seems like 10 years ago. A lot has changed, but a lot is the same…like this site for instance (yeah I never migrated it).
- I’m no longer using Linux Mint for my OS – I’m dual booting Arch and openSUSE Tumbleweed (primary) now.
- I have an approved retirement date from the Air Force! My last day will officially be 1 Nov 2022.
- The MixnJuice project has been put on hold, with a change of direction when it comes back. This is due to…. (see next)
- I now work for AllTheFlavors.com as the backend developer, building the new ATF 2.0 site for Flavorah.
- For my Air Force job, I have been a Weapon Safety Manager (Kirtland AFB) since May 2021.
- I have been too busy to really develop e-liquid recipes, so I’ve mostly vaped single flavor mixes for the past year.
I do plan to use this site more and add content more often, instead of just random updates once a year. I’ve also said that every year, so we’ll see. I’ve been more involved in Linux wikis, so I may begin working on content here that will eventually go into those. In the past couple of years I’ve contributed to the Debian, openSUSE, Fedora, and Arch wikis. Arch is the most recent, but I’ve contributed quite a bit to the openSUSE wiki, because it is my primary distro.
Anyway, I’m still alive, glad you are too!
